Van Details & Kit

Everything you need for comfortable family camping: cooking gear that actually works, basic utensils, loo, cleaning supplies, bedding for the van's sleeping capacity, and all the "why didn't we think of that" extras that make camping life easier, including awning, tables and chairs.

Completely. We provide properly fitted child seats (£7.50/trip), have child-friendly route suggestions, and our handover includes everything parents need to feel confident with little ones aboard.

Routes & Destinations

With the right planning, absolutely. The key is realistic daily distances, child-friendly stops, and flexible booking. That's exactly what our Explorer Package covers.

Scottish weather is part of the adventure! We can suggest alternative routes if needed. Plus, a well-kitted van, with your packed woollies and waterproofs, and sun protection for the summer, means you're comfortable whatever the weather brings.

Yes, narrow single-track roads or areas where larger vehicles aren't permitted. And if in doubt, contact us - local knowledge prevents problems before they start.

Scotland's access rights don't extend to vehicles, so you’ll need to stay in a campsite or book a designated stopover.
Leave no trace, respect passing places, and support local businesses.
Practical Questions

Insurance for one driver (aged 25-70) is included. Additional drivers cost £8 per night and must meet the same age and licensing requirements.

You get 220 miles per day (averaged across your trip). Most adventures fit comfortably within this. Extra miles are £0.25 each.

Return the van with a full tank (just like rental cars). Standard cleaning is included, but excessive mess may incur a £60 charge.

Never driven a campervan before? Don’t worry — you’ll get a full handover, easy-to-follow tips, and you can contact us if you need it on the road.

Pick up: After 2 pm on the first day of renting.
Drop off: Before 11 am on the final day. -
You’re welcome to park on our private, fenced-off drive, at your own risk.
