Hi, we’re Paul and Shona, husband and wife team — happiest when we’re off exploring Scotland’s Highlands with family and friends, chasing quiet roads, and wild views.
Those road trips sparked TXM Campers — born from a love of adventure and the belief that exploring should feel exciting, not stressful.
Our Story
After years of uncovering hidden bays, quiet routes, and scenic spots that most travellers never find, we realised many families and couples were missing out. They wanted the freedom of the open road, but planning routes, choosing the right sites, and keeping everyone comfortable often turned excitement into stress.
At TXM Campers, we take that pressure away. Every van is fully equipped for real exploring, with routes and recommendations shaped by our own adventures.

Who We Are
Shona and I.
Shona was born and raised in Inverness, and after years of living and working elsewhere, we’ve now settled here with our little family — still pinching ourselves that we get to call this place home. We both spent many years in the British Army, which sparked our love for adventure, the outdoors, and looking after people. Those skills now shape how we run our campervan business.
Most weekends you’ll find us loading up the van, buckling our wee one in, and heading out on the NC500 — chasing west coast sunsets, parking up beside quiet lochs, and waking to nothing but the wind and birds. These simple moments mean everything to us, and they’re exactly what we want to share with you.
We don’t just hand over the keys and send you on your way. We’ve poured our love of the Highlands, our eye for detail, and our Army-honed planning into creating campervan experiences that feel safe, welcoming, and effortless — even if it’s your first time. The Highlands are far too beautiful to be kept a secret, and our goal is to help you explore them at your own pace, in comfort, with a cosy van to call “home” at the end of each unforgettable day.
